I Highly Recommend Mar-Sal Cresteds!!
I bought my 4 month old puppy, Charming from Sallie and Mark and I couldn't be happier! He came pre-spoiled, very well taken care of, and VERY loved. Sallie raises her puppies as part of her family and it shows. Charming is very well behaved and very affectionate! He even had a few basic commands down already! Sallie was more then helpful with everything, including shipping arrangements and providing pleanty of pictures of the rest of the family and the environment they are raised in. I completely back this breeder and would buy from Sallie and Mark again in a heartbeat! Thanks guys! I love my little Prince Charming!

We live a few houses down from Sallie (and family) and finally got to know them. We were so amazed by this breed that we decided to purchase one.
Sallie is a stay at home mom for these babies....there everyday for every need that arises. All of the babies that I've seen come out of her house have been such loveable little babies! Honestly, I get sad to see them go.
The pups become a part of the family and are soooo spoiled! All puppies are happy, nice, loving little pups.
My Daisy always squeals when she sees "grandma" come across the street to visit.
In fact, in the event that she manages to figure out that she's "loose" from the boundries of our yard, she runs straight down the street and to Sallie's doorstep. I can just hear her panting "There's no place like home, there's no place like home"....little stinker.
Anyhow, for anyone out there considering purchasing one of Sallies adorable babies....
Do It...you won't be disappointed!!

I purchased/adopted my girl Izzy...AKA...Lizzy from Sallie and MarSal Cresteds and couldn't be happier..
My Izzie is a wonderful girl..so full of personality and she is a beauty.
We have her enrolled in conformation classes so hopefuly she will be out by spring of 2009 to start showing..if not before then!
Sallie has been quite a joy to deal with, unlike other "breeders".
She even took time out to drive Izzy to another country so I could take ownership!
I would recomend this kennel greatly!

When I began my search for a new puppy it was very important to me to find a breeder that really cared about their dogs. I found that at Mar-Sal Crested. I contacted many breeders but from the very beginning of my communication with Sallie I knew that this was a person that truly loved dogs not just for the income that they provide.
I live almost 2 hours from Sallie so seeing Libby (was Mia) before the big day would have been an all day affair. Sallie sent me many, many pictures and even a few videos and I was in love with Libby even before I ever met her.
Libby is so lovable and affectionate and the socializing that Sallie and her family provided her is evident. My husband and I are so happy with our new little girl and Libby is now the light our lives along with our little boy, our Chihuahua Paco, who is absolutely in love with Libby too.

In the summer of 2008 we adopted our new little girl, Princess Ava, from Mar-Sal Cresteds. Throughout every step of the process they were helpful, honest caring and very accommodating. It is obviously that each puppy is not just a pet but also a well integrated member of the family. They took the time to make sure that we would be happy with Ava and equally important that Ava would be happy with us, and our personalities and life style are absolutely compatible. It means a lot that some one else cares as much as we do about our decision to adopt a new member of our family.

We received a tremendous gift from Sallie and her family. Our Dillon!!! Words can hardly describe what he means to my family. He has helped heal our hearts from a loss and that can only be attributed to the love and care he received with the Pifer’s. He arrived to our home a total gentleman. He knows basic commands, was housebroken, and is totally socialized. He is such a sweetheart. It was so obvious that The Pifer family puts their hearts and souls into raising their babies. Sallie was absolutely incredible to work with. She provided updates and pictures frequently and was always there to answer any questions. I love that she raises these puppies in her home and truly makes them a part of her family. I know she loves each and every puppy. I was looking for months, for a breeder who had Chinese Crested pups in Michigan. The only one I came across who kept in touch with me was Mar-Sal Cresteds aka:Sallie Pifer.
I had alot of questions, she helped answer every one I had & even answered ones I failed to ask. When Sallie had a set of pups ready to start showing to forever homes, she let me know. I began seeing pictures added to her web page. We first fell in love with Ricco, but later fell in love with his brother Cyrus aka:Tango.
So yep we got 2 Cresteds.
Sallie welcomed my Family, into hers like we had known each other for years. She allowed us to come visit her home every time we asked. She in my option is the best breeder in the world. All her Cresteds are very well mannered, loving, & playful. She treats everyone of her dogs as if they are her children. She gives them lots of loving & they give it, in return, to everyone. Our boys came very spoiled just as she warned us they would. I still keep in contact with Sallie. She is my newest best friend! I definitely would recommend her to any & everyone I know looking for a great line of Crested puppies or dogs.
